Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), a Germany-based automaker, is planning to develop a new mid-size SUV.
The vehicle is thought to be based on the Q5 and will be positioned between the Tiguan and the full-sized Touareg.
The model is expected to adopt a similar design language to the Audi and be as big, although it will be positioned beneath it when marketed.
