Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), a Germany-based automaker, will launch its new GTI at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next week.
The vehicle will be available with a choice of 220bhp and 230bhp engines in the European market. It is based on the new 2013 Volkswagen Golf and is equipped with an up-rated version of the new 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, coupled with a choice of a six-speed manual and six-speed DSG dual clutch gearboxes. It features custom fascias, side skirts, a rear diffuser, 17-inch alloy wheels, smoked LED tail lamps, LED license plate lights, and red-painted brake callipers.
The model is to arrive at German dealerships in May 2013, priced at EUR28,350.
