The BMW Group reports July sales

The BMW Group (Xetra: BMW), a Germany-based automaker, has reported an increase in sales for the month of July 2012.

The automaker sold 135,537 units of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce globally last month, up 5 percent compared to the year-ago period.

During January to July 2012, the company sold 1,036,088 vehicles.
