Renault SA (EURONEXT: RNO), a France-based automaker, is planning to develop a small five-door crossover that will ride on the same platform as the new Clio.
The vehicle is designed by Laurens van den Acker and will borrow a sizable amount of styling cues from the aforementioned Clio, while being roughly the same size as the popular Nissan Juke. It is to arrive at European dealerships before the end of 2013.
The model will be available with a range of dCi and tCe four-cylinder engines, which will be offered in both two- and four-wheel drive configurations, and an optional Renault six-speed dual-clutch EDC transmission.
