Peugeot, a France-based automaker, will launch its range-topping version of the new 208 hatchback at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for later this month.
The vehicle is equipped with a toned-down version of the 208 GTi’s body kit, and features model-specific fender flares that accommodate a wider track, side skirts and brushed aluminium trim mounted at the bottom of the rear bumper. It will be available with six different four-cylinder engines that range from a 92bhp 1.6-litre e-HDi turbodiesel, to a 1.6-litre THP petrol unit that delivers 155bhp. It will be available in six exterior colours.
The model will be on sale across Europe from early 2013.
