Peugeot, a France-based automaker, has launched its 2008 concept vehicle at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The vehicle is built on the company’s 208 hatchback platform and previews an upcoming crossover. It measures 162 inches long and 68 inches wide, putting it at the smaller end of the crossover segment. It features a floating grille, small headlights and C-shaped tail lamps. It will be offered with a turbocharged 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine that delivers 110bhp, and a range of diesel-burning HDi and petrol- burning THP four-cylinder engines.
According to a spokesperson for Peugeot, the automaker will start production of the vehicle in December 2013, which is thought to indicate that the final version of the model will be launched at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
