McLaren GT, a racecar division of UK-based super car manufacturer, Mclaren Automotive, has unveiled an MP4-12C-based concept car.
The concept, known as the 12C Can-Am Edition, was unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours, and is the first racing model that McLaren has showcased in the US.
With a body of orange paint and exposed carbon fibre, the concept draws most of its aerodynamics from the 12C GT3 racecar. The cars interior has two racing seats with 6-point harnesses, a roll-cage and a formula-1 derived steering wheel. It is powered by a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
