Mini launches John Cooper Works version of Paceman at Detroit auto show

Mini, a subsidiary of BMW AG (Xetra: BMW), has launched the range topping John Cooper Works version of its new Paceman at the 2013 Detroit auto show.

The vehicle features an aggressive front fascia, sporty side skirts, upsized chrome tailpipes, and bespoke 18-inch alloy wheels. It is equipped with a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder engine that delivers 218bhp and 207lb-ft. of torque, coupled with a choice of a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic gearbox and MINI’s ALL4 all-wheel-drive system.

The model is to arrive at United States dealerships in March 2013.
