McLaren, a United Kingdom-based automaker, has revealed details of its production-spec P1 supercar.
The vehicle is to be launched at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The automaker is producing 500 units of the vehicle over a period of four years and it will be priced from $1.56m.
The model’s overall shape is reminiscent of the company’s MP4-12C. It features a shortened front end with a highly stylised front fascia melding into an aggressive front splitter, and a high-mounted centre exhaust and large diffuser. The interior has a glass roof, a taller windscreen, climate control, satellite navigation and a bespoke sound system. It is to be equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 engine.
