Mazda Motor Corporation (TYO: 7267), a Japan-based automaker, has revealed details of the United States specific version of the 2013 CX-9.
The vehicle features a CX-5-like grille, flanked by two ‘eagle-eye’ headlights, below which sit more elegant fog light surrounds, new wheels, taillights with new detailing, exhaust pipes that have moved from a trapezoidal design to a circular shape and an interior with a centre stack that has a new 5.8-inch infotainment screen. It is to be equipped with a Ford-based 3.7-liter V6 engine that delivers 273bhp and 270lb-ft of torque, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard with an optional all-wheel-drive.
The model is to be priced from $30,580.
