Lincoln, a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F), is launching its MKC compact crossover at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit
The vehicle is the first Lincoln vehicle to be designed completely under the leadership of Max Wolff. It will be based on the automaker’s redesigned Escape crossover and will borrow most of its styling cues from the Lincoln MKZ sedan. Reuters has reported that the vehicle is to arrive at United States dealerships in early 2014.
The model is available with a choice of a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine, and an optional 1.6-litre EcoBoost and 2.0-litre EcoBoost motor as standard equipment.
