Kia Motors Corporation (KSE: 000270), a South Korea-based automaker, is launching an upmarket version of its compact Forte sedan at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The vehicle shares much of its architecture and engines with the Hyundai Elantra. It will be available with a choice of 1.8-litre and 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine.
The model features electric power steering, which includes three user-adjustable steering effort modes, optional HID headlamps and an interior with two LCD screens, a driver-canted dashboard, dual-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats, and a cooled driver’s seat with memory.
