Kia Motor Corporation (KSE: 000270), a South Korea-based automaker, is unveiling its 2013 Proceed at the 2012 Paris motor show.
The vehicle is to arrive at United Kingdom dealerships in the spring of 2013. It will compete with the Hyundai Veloster, Volkswagen Scirocco and Vauxhall Astra GTC.
The model features a more sloping roofline, a different tailgate and slimmer rear lights that give it a sportier look to the existing Ceed model, along with new bumpers, sculpted lines along the sides of the car and extra chrome trim between the front grille and headlights. The interior will remain the same as the Ceed, although it may offer additional trim packages.
