Kia Motors Corporation (KSE: 000270), a South Korea-based automaker, is launching its 2013 cee’d GT, a five-door hot hatchback, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The vehicle is based on the regular cee’d and has been given a performance-inspired exterior treatment by Peter Schreyer, the brand’s former design chief and current president. It is to arrive at European dealerships in the second half of 2013.
The model features aggressive bumpers at both ends, a plastic mesh grille at the front, aerodynamic side skirts, four-point LED daytime running lights and bespoke 18-inch alloy wheels. It is equipped with a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.
