Jaguar, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited (NYSE: TTM), is launching a production version of the new F-Type sports car at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for next month.
The model previews as the C-X16 concept and will use two different versions of an all-new, supercharged 3.0-litre V6 engine, coupled with a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
The engine also has Jaguar’s stop-start technology to improve overall fuel economy.
