Jaguar Land Rover offers pay increase to UK employees

Jaguar Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited (NYSE:TTM), is offering a wage increase of around 4.5 percent to its employees at three manufacturing plants in the United Kingdom, effective November 2012.

The employees will also receive an additional increase of 3 percent in the second year of the settlement.

The subsidiary is also planning to make more than 2,000 workers permanent across its three manufacturing units.
