Hyundai Motor Company (KSE: 005380), a South Korea-based automaker, has launched an armoured version of its Equus flagship at the 2012 Moscow Auto Show.
The vehicle weighs 8,466lbs more than the standard car, and German specialist Stoof International has upgraded it.
The upgrades include a second battery, thicker, bulletproof glass, reinforced door hinges, hydraulic window lifts, a reinforced and protected fuel tank, a fire suppression system, and an intercom. The vehicle is to be equipped with a 429bhp 5.0-litre V8 engine.
