Honda Motor Company (NYSE: HMC) (TYO: 7267), a Japan-based automaker, is equipping its new Civic with a 1.6-litre diesel engine in the United Kingdom.
The vehicle is to arrive at United Kingdom dealerships in 2013, priced from GBP19,400.
The new model will be available in three trim levels, SE, ES and EX. The engine has been designed and engineered specifically for the European market, and will be built at the automaker’s Swindon plant.
