General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM), a United States-based automaker, could be forced to offer discounts on its full-size pickups.

Poor sales and a growing inventory saw the automaker’s pickup truck supply increase to 136 days at the end of July.

The Detroit News has reported, citing Joseph Spak, an auto analyst with RBC Capital Markets LLC, ‘My concern would be that if inventory levels don’t improve, GM will need to raise the incentive level to move the vehicles.’
