Fisker Automotive, a United States-based automaker, is in discussion with three outside automakers regarding a potential partnership.
Fisker had previously indicated that it could collaborate with a larger automaker to shore up its future outlook, with the talks now said to be at the highest level.
Fisker CEO, Tony Posawatz, stated that a contract is likely to be signed within a year, but failed to reveal other details. The automaker has not revealed the names of the companies interested in Fisker or what form a partnership might take.
