Fiat to add four models to 500 range

Fiat SpA (NYSE: FIA) (ISE: IT0001976403), an Italy-based automaker, is adding four new models to its 500 range.

The first model to be launched will be the 500L, which will arrive at United Kingdom and other European dealerships in February 2012. The second model will be a seven-seater version of the 500L, named the 500XL, to be launched in September 2012. It will be longer and wider than the 500L.

AutoCar has reported that the third model to be launched is the 500L Trekking, which is to arrive at European dealerships before the end of 2013. The fourth model will be the 500X and will compete with the Mini Countryman.
