Ferrari, an Italy-based automaker, has revealed details of the new Enzo-successor on the company’s official Facebook page.
The vehicle is to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next week. It is known internally as the F150, and the automaker is producing 499 units of the vehicle, priced at EUR1.2m.
The model is to be equipped with a hybrid engine that includes an evolution of the 6.3-litre V12 engine found in the f12 berlinetta, and a Formula 1-derived Kinetic Energy Recovery System that delivers 950bhp to the rear set of wheels. It accelerates from zero to 62mph in three seconds and reaches a top speed of 229mph. It is built around a carbon-fibre monocoque crafted by Ferrari’s Formula 1 division.
