Daimler AG to expand production capacity of A Class

Daimler AG (NYSE: DAI) (FWB: DAI), a Germany-based automaker, is expanding the production capacity of its A Class by 100,000 units.

The automaker has signed a contract with Finnish Supplier, Valmet Automotive, for this project.

According to the contract, Valmet will produce over 100,000 units for Daimler from 2013 to 2016.
