Citroen launches topless version of DS3 at 2012 Paris Motor Show

Citroen, a France-based automaker, has launched a topless version of the DS3 premium hatchback at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The vehicle is to compete with the Fiat 500C. It is to be equipped with PSA’s all-new three-cylinder petrol engine, which is rated at 82bhp and 87lb-ft of torque, two petrol engines developed jointly by PSA and BMW, and a 92bhp turbodiesel unit.

The model is to be produced at the Poissy, France plant and is to arrive at European dealerships in early 2013.The automaker will release pricing information for the vehicle closer to its launch.
