Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM), is launching its new Trax compact crossover at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for September.
The vehicle is to ride on the on the same basic architecture that underpins the upcoming Buick Encore. It will provide seating for five and has an optional all-wheel drive system. The model is available with a range of engines, a 1.6-litre petrol engine, 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and 1.7-litre diesel engine.
The model is to arrive at European dealerships after its Paris debut.
