Audi AG, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), has revealed details of the 2013 RS 6 Avant.
The vehicle is equipped with a 4.0-litre TFSI V8 engine that uses two large twin-scroll turbochargers that deliver 552bhp and 516lb-ft. of torque, coupled with an eight-speed tiptronic gearbox controlled by shift paddles that work in conjunction with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system. It features a plastic mesh grille, fender flares, an air diffuser that is integrated into the rear bumper and an interior with an instrument cluster with black and white dials and red needles, a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel and leather-upholstered RS sport seats.
The vehicle is to arrive at dealerships in early 2013, priced from £77,000, but there are no plans yet to release it in the USA.
