Audi AG, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), has launched its 2013 S3 Sportback at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The vehicle is to compete with the Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG and is to arrive at European dealerships later this year.
The model is equipped with a 2.0-litre TFSI four-cylinder engine that is both turbocharged and direct-injected, coupled with a standard six-speed manual transmission and an optional six-speed S tronic dual-clutch unit. It features a model-specific grille, an air diffuser flanked by four chromed exhaust tips, and 18-inch alloy wheels mounted on low-rolling resistance tyres.
