Porsche names new Ferrari 458 rival the 961

Porsche AG (NYSE: POR3) (FWB: POR3), a Germany-based automaker, is naming its new Ferrari 458 rival the 961.

The vehicle is to be positioned between the 911 GT2 RS and the upcoming 918 Spyder hybrid. It is to be priced at around GBP250,000.

The model is to be equipped with the 918′s 4.6-litre V8 that delivers 570bhp.
