BMW AG (Xetra: BMW), a Germany-based automaker, is recalling 45,500 units of its 7 Series cars.
The recalled models are from the 2005 to 2008 model years, produced from August 23, 2004, until July 24, 2008.
The automaker is recalling the vehicles because of a potential problem with their electronic transmission control systems that could lead to the cars rolling away after being parked.
