Honda Motor Company (NYSE: HMC) (TYO: 7267), a Japan-based automaker, is planning to launch a Fit based sedan and crossover.
Both models will be available for sale in the United States, and are to be equipped with a downsized Earth Dreams four-cylinder motor and fuel-efficient continuously variable transmission. They will be produced at the automaker’s new Mexican plant in Celaya, Guanajuato.
The vehicles are to be launched in 2013.
