Nissan Motor Company (NASDAQ: NSANY) (TYO: 7201), a Japan-based automaker, is unveiling its Extrem concept car at the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show, which opens tomorrow.
The concept vehicle is equipped with the same 1.6-litre DIG-T turbo inline-four engine that is found in the Nissan Juke. It was designed by San Diego-based Nissan Design America, but Brazilian designers worked with the American team. A production version is likely to be offered with either front- or all-wheel-drive.
The vehicle features wraparound glass, floating roof rails, see-through A-pillars, and detached C pillars. The concept rides on 19-inch, six-spoke wheels.
