Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), a Germany-based automaker, has started taking orders for its new Golf in the United Kingdom.
The vehicle will initially be offered in three trim levels, S, SE and GT, priced from £16,285 to £24,880, with GTI and BlueMotion models to follow in 2015. It will be available with a choice of four petrol engines and two diesel engines, and in three-door and five-door versions.
The model features seven airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag, five three-point seatbelts, XDS electronic differential lock, Isofix preparation for two child seats at the rear, a DAB digital radio, a CD player, MDI interface, Bluetooth and a climatic semi-automatic air conditioning system.
