Ford to develop road-legal version of Formula Ford race car

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F), a United States-based automaker, is planning to produce a road-legal version of its Formula Ford race car.

The vehicle will be based on the 1.0L Formula Ford and will compete with the Ariel Atom. It will be priced at less than £50,000.

The automaker will be producing around 20 to 40 units of the vehicle.
