Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), a Germany-based automaker, is launching its up! GT in 2013.
The vehicle is based on the up! city car and features large alloy wheels, a more aggressive front bumper that incorporates a large air dam, a bumper-mounted air diffuser and a discreet spoiler at the rear, more complete instrumentation and bucket seats upholstered with the automaker’s traditional plaid cloth fabric. It is to be equipped with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission.
The model is to arrive at European dealerships in early 2013.
