Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F), a United States-based automaker, is recalling 195,000 units of the Police Interceptors version of the Ford Crown Victoria.
The recalled models are from the 2004 to 2008 model years.
The automaker is recalling the vehicle because of defective steering columns. It has received three complaints that allege that the upper intermediate shaft separated from the steering column at low speeds, resulting in a total loss of steering control.
