Kia Motors Corporation (KSE: 000270), a South Korea-based automaker, is launching its updated Forte and Sorento models at the 2012 Los Angeles auto show.
The 2014 Forte is likely to adopt design cues from the larger Optima. It will feature upgraded rear suspension, moving from a beam set-up to the same multi-link unit found beneath the Hyundai Elantra, and possibly a more efficient drivetrain.
The updated Sorento is likely to see fewer changes as the model was only introduced in 2011. A complete revamp of the Sorento, based on the Hyundai Santa Fe, is likely to be unveiled in 2014.
