Mazda Motor Corporation (TYO: 7262), a Japan-based automaker, is not likely to launch its new Mazda2 in the United States.
The vehicle is to be launched in other markets around the world in 2015, but slow sales in the US could see it excluded from that market.
The model is to be equipped with a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder engine that produces 100bhp.
