Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM), has announced the price of its Sonic RS hatchback.
The model is to be priced from $20,995. The automaker is to start production of the vehicle in October at General Motors’ Orion, Michigan, assembly centre.
The vehicle is to be equipped with a 138bhp, turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine. It features a newly styled grille, a new front fascia, model-specific five-spoke 17-inch wheels, a new spoiler and bright exhaust outlets. The interior has a flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminium pedals and leather front seats with suede micro-fibre inserts and red RS accents.
