Seat, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), has launched its 2013 Leon Sports Coupe, a three-door hatchback, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The vehicle is built on the automaker’s modular MQB platform. It is to arrive at European, Mexican and Chinese dealerships before the end of 2013.
The model borrows styling cues such as its angular headlights and its trapezoidal grille from the smaller Ibiza. The interior has an instrument cluster with two round analogue gauges and a centre console that is oriented towards the driver. It is available with various turbocharged TDI and TSI four-cylinder engines that include a 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers 105bhp and 1.8-litre petrol engine that delivers 180bhp.
