General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM), a United States-based automaker, is recalling 8,519 units of the Chevrolet Malibu.

The recalled models are from the 2013 model year, produced between December 6, 2011 and January 15, 2013.

The automaker is recalling the vehicle because certain units may have been assembled with rear suspension cradles that had insufficient torque applied to certain bolts
