Audi AG, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), has revealed details of the petrol version of the SQ5 super-SUV.
The vehicle is designed specifically for the United States, Canada and China. It is to be unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show and is to arrive at United States dealerships in the third quarter of 2013.
The model is equipped with a supercharged 3.0-litre TFSI V6 engine that delivers 354bhp and 346lb-ft of torque, coupled with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission. It accelerates from zero to 62mph in 5.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155mph. It features a specific radiator grille with brushed aluminium trim, a boot-mounted spoiler and an aggressive body kit all around. 20-inch alloy wheels mounted on low profile tyres come standard, with 21-inch alloys as an option.
