Hyundai Motor Company (KSE: 005380), a South Korea-based automaker, is launching its new entry-level i10 supermini in Europe in early 2014, according to a new report.
The new i10 is developed at the automaker’s European headquarters. It is intended to compete with the four-door version of the Volkswagen up! and its Seat and Skoda-badge variations.
The model features a front end with a bigger radiator grille and more aggressive headlights, two styling cues that will help put the car in line with Hyundai’s latest design language, while the rear-end has more rounded tail lamps. It will be available with a range of downsized three- and four-cylinder petrol engines, and new diesel engine for the European market.
