General Motors offers discounts on full-size pickup trucks

General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM) is planning to offer discounts on its full-size pickup trucks to clear out its remaining 2013 models.

The automaker is offering the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra with a cash back offer of up to $2,000 until January 2, 2012. The incentive is applicable to both 2012 and 2013 models.

Automotive News has reported that the incentives are in addition to the $1,000 in bonus cash that the automaker is already offering on the trucks.
