Kia Motors Corporation (KSE: 000270), a South Korea-based automaker, has revealed details of the new three-door pro_cee’d GT and five-door cee’d GT.
Both models features an aggressive bumper at both ends, a mesh grille and side skirts, four point LED daytime running lights, 18-inch wheels, Recaro bucket seats, alloy pedals and a more complete instrumentation. It is to be equipped with the same turbocharged 1.6-litre, four-cylinder engine, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. It accelerates from zero to 62mph in 7.9 seconds.
The vehicles are to be launched at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, scheduled for March 2013. They will arrive at the European dealerships in the second half of 2013.
