Chrysler Group LLC, a United States-based automaker, is recalling 744,822 units of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Liberty models.

The automaker is recalling the vehicles because of concerns that the vehicles’ airbags could inadvertently deploy while the SUVs are in motion.

The recalled models include certain 2002 and 2003 model year Liberty, built from January 9, 2001 to March 28, 2003, and 2002 to 2004 model year Grand Cherokees, built from February 13, 2001 to May 23, 2003.
