Jaguar to launch XFR-S at 2012 Los Angeles auto show

Jaguar, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited (NYSE: TTM), is launching its XFR-S super sedan at the 2012 Los Angeles auto show later this month.

The vehicle is to compete with the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. It is to be priced at a premium over the XFR, which costs $83,200.

The model is equipped with a 550bhp, 502lb-ft of torque version of Jaguar’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine.
