Jaguar Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited (NYSE: TTM), has reported an increase in global sales for the month of October 2012.
The automaker sold 25,176 vehicles last month, up 10 percent over the year-ago period.
Land Rover division sold 22,166 of those October sales, up 17 percent over the year-ago period. However, Jaguar sold 3,010 vehicles, down 24 percent compared to the same period in 2011.
For the year to date, Land Rover has achieved a global sales increase of 41 percent, with 249,414 models sold.
