Mitsubishi Motor Corporation (TYO: 7211), a Japan-based automaker, has confirmed that it is to launch its Mirage model in the United States in September 2013.
The vehicle is to be produced at the automaker’s Thailand plant.
The automaker is presently expanding the facility’s capacity from 150,000 units to 200,000 units in order to cope with the United States demand. It is also launching a plug-in hybrid version of its Outlander SUV.
